Services
80x builds and repairs AI agents for venture-capital funds: agentic CRM automation, CRM migration and cleanup, and automation retainers.
The three services
Agentic CRM automation
Agents that qualify, enrich, and file deals inside Attio or Affinity, writing cited suggestions into fields they own instead of overwriting yours.

Migrations run like production database moves: mapped, rehearsed, verified. And data rescue when a past migration has already gone wrong.

Standing ownership of the scheduled jobs behind your pipeline: hygiene enforcement, stale-deal alerts, self-rebuilding dashboards, and monitoring for silent failures.

What funds hire 80x to do
- Qualify inbound deals automatically, with a citation on every finding.
- Rescue a botched migration, with backups and a rollback trail.
- Keep pipeline data clean on a schedule, not with quarterly cleanups.
- Build the LP raise as a pipeline, with a weighted coverage number against target.
- Repair dead automations and dashboards, found via the created-before/after pattern.
- Build an internal tool or product-grade agent, spec first.
How we engage
Three shapes of work
Sprint
A short, fixed-scope engagement that fixes one thing: a dead automation, a stalled sync, a single enforcement job.
Project
A scoped build with a written specification and decision log you review before code is generated: a qualification agent, a migration, an LP pipeline, an internal tool.
Retainer
Standing ownership of the automations behind your pipeline: scheduled jobs, alerts, dashboards, and monitoring for silent failures.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Do you work with CRMs other than Attio and Affinity?
- Attio and Affinity are where our production systems run and where our tooling is deepest. The doctrine transfers to any CRM with an API: suggestion fields, dry runs, idempotent jobs. If you run something else, ask, and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right fit.
- Will an agent overwrite our data?
- No. Agents we build write only to clearly labeled suggestion fields they own, never to fields your team owns, and that boundary is enforced by schema design rather than by prompt wording. Every write carries a verbatim citation from its source note, every job defaults to a dry run, and a kill switch stops all writes with one setting.
- Can you fix a migration that already went wrong?
- Yes. Data rescue is half of the migration service: deduplication at scale with full backups and rollback trails, date backfills reconstructed from your CRM's own status history, and human review queues for anything ambiguous. At a fund-of-funds, 80x reduced 4,892 duplicated notes to 2,358 with zero erroneous deletions.
- Do you need write access to our live CRM?
- Eventually, but writes come last. Engagements start read-only, every job rehearses in dry-run mode against your real data before it is allowed to write, anything that deletes or changes data is backed up first, and you hold the kill switch.
- Who owns what you build?
- You do. Everything ships in a repository you control, with a written specification, a decision log, and instructions to run it without us. 80x publishes its general methods as open documentation at 80x.ai/docs; your data and your systems stay yours.
- How do engagements start?
- With a short call and a written brief. From there the work takes one of three shapes: a sprint that fixes one thing, a project with a specification you review before code is generated, or a retainer that keeps your automations running. Book a call at 80x.ai/book and we will tell you which shape fits.
